Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains how Steady Path Labs (“we,” “us,” “our”) handles information in connection with this website and the internal tools we operate to manage our own social media accounts. Questions: martin@steadypathlabs.com.
1. Who we are
Steady Path Labs is the parent company for a family of personal-development and self-improvement products, including StackAHabit. We operate internal automation tools (collectively, the “Tools”) that connect to social media platforms to schedule content and review analytics for accounts that we own and control.
2. Information this website collects
This website is a set of static informational pages. It does not require an account, and we do not collect names, contact details, or tracking identifiers from visitors through it. If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include in that message and use it only to reply.
3. Information our Tools access through platform APIs
Our Tools use the official APIs of the platforms below to operate our own brand accounts. The Tools access only accounts we own, after we explicitly authorize them through each platform’s standard login/consent flow. Depending on the platform, the data accessed may include:
- Basic account/profile information for the connected account (e.g. display name, account ID, follower counts);
- Content we publish or have published (posts, videos, captions);
- Aggregate performance and analytics for that content (e.g. views, likes, comments, shares, reach).
We use this information solely to publish content to, and understand the performance of, our own accounts. We do not use platform data to build profiles of other users, and we do not sell it or share it with third parties for their own purposes.
4. Platform-specific disclosures
TikTok. Our Tools use TikTok APIs (including Login Kit, Content Posting API, and analytics endpoints) to post to and read analytics for our own TikTok accounts. Use of TikTok data is subject to TikTok’s Privacy Policy.
Meta / Instagram. Our Tools use the Instagram Graph API and related Meta Platform products to manage our own Instagram and Facebook Page content and insights. Use of Meta data is subject to Meta’s Privacy Policy.
Google / YouTube. Our Tools use YouTube API Services to manage our own channel’s content and analytics. By using this feature you acknowledge the YouTube Terms of Service, and our handling of Google user data complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. Information accessed via Google APIs is used only to provide and improve the Tools’ management of our own accounts, is not transferred to others except as required for that purpose or by law, and is not used for advertising. Google data can be revoked at any time via Google account permissions; see also the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Storage, retention, and security
Access tokens and analytics data used by the Tools are stored in secured, access-controlled infrastructure and used only to operate the Tools. Tokens are retained while an account remains connected and are deleted when access is revoked or the account is disconnected. We apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect this information.
6. Revoking access
Because the Tools operate only our own accounts, access is granted and revoked by us. Connected accounts can be disconnected at any time from within each platform’s app settings or security controls, which immediately ends the Tools’ access.
7. Children’s privacy
Our website and Tools are not directed to children and do not knowingly collect information from children.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
